Question to the Cabinet Office:
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what recent estimate he has made of the cost to the public purse of Interserve going into administration.
As Interserve has stated publicly, its business will continue to operate as normal for customers and suppliers. The operating companies of Interserve have not entered administration and will be unaffected. As a result, the provision of public services will continue without disruption or impact on jobs or pensions and with no additional cost to the taxpayer.
