Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, Armed Forces Recruitment Programme, which aspects of the service are not progressing as initially planned.

The Armed Forces Recruiting solution continues to mature in line with the required service commencement dates, and the Programme remains focused on delivery against the agreed plan.

Digital and data delivery remain key programme risk areas, reflecting the scale and complexity of developing, integrating, assuring and migrating data into the new technical solution. Additional specialist resource has been brought into both the Authority and supplier teams to strengthen digital and data delivery, technical assurance and transition planning.

This additional capacity is supporting the active management of delivery risks, the recovery of schedule pressures and the safe and orderly implementation of the new service.
