Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what steps she plans to take to reform the tax status of people with non-domiciled residency.

The government has published a policy note setting out its plan to remove the concept of domicile status from the tax system, and to implement a new residence-based regime which is internationally competitive and focused on attracting the best talent and investment to the UK.
