Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, Prisoner Education Services, how many Foreign National Offenders are in receipt of education via the programme.

The information requested forms part of a forthcoming Official Statistics publication. Participation in prison education, covering the period of the new Prisoner Education Service contracts, will be included in the HMPPS Offender Equalities Annual Report scheduled for release in November 2026. In accordance with the Code of Practice for Statistics, we are unable to provide unpublished figures or additional breakdowns in advance of publication.
