Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, Mechanised Infantry Programme, what progress he has made on a) resetting and b) decoupling from Ajax Boxer Collective Training.

The Mechanised Infantry Programme has been reset to reflect delivery progress, programme maturity, infrastructure readiness, equipment availability and ongoing supply chain challenges. As part of this work, the Department has reviewed the dependencies between Ajax and Boxer collective training. Ajax and Boxer collective training events have been decoupled this year.
