Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many teaching assistants have been employed in schools in (a) England, (b) North East and (c) Easington constituency in each of the last five years.

The following table provides the full-time equivalent number of teaching assistants in state funded in England, North East region and Easington constituency in November each year from 2013 to 2017.
