Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if she will make an assessment of the potential merits of including community pharmacy staff in NHS pensions.
This question was answered on 7th September 2026
No such assessment has been made.
Community pharmacies are private businesses and are responsible for setting employment and pension terms that support staff recruitment and retention.
