Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what steps he is taking to help improve the efficiency and value for money of defence procurement.

A substantial programme of work is underway across Defence to improve procurement performance and efficiency. This includes implementing acquisition reform to speed up routes to contract, strengthen contractual levers, improve delivery discipline, and implementing the vision set out in the Strategic Defence Review and Defence Industrial Strategy.
