Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Minister of State, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, whether his Department has sought legal advice on the international legal framework governing the conduct of all parties to the conflict in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

The Foreign Secretary receives legal advice as appropriate, on all matters related to foreign policy, including the conflict in Israel and Gaza, as part of advice from officials. All sides must abide by their international obligations and must respect International Humanitarian Law.
