The British Government welcomed the report of the Rakhine Advisory Commission and its recommendations. We note that the civilian government in Myanmar has accepted the recommendations contained within the report and we continue to push for full implementation. We recognise that the government has started work on responding to some of the recommendations, but there is still significant progress that needs to be made. We continue to offer assistance to the Myanmar Government to address the long term issues in Rakhine and deliver for all communities.
