Brunei: Homosexuality

Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will make it his policy to offer his public support to civil society groups in Brunei and across the Commonwealth who are working to oppose the introduction of death by stoning as a punishment for same-sex relationships in the Sultanate of Brunei.

​The Foreign Secretary has made public his deep opposition to the implementation of Sharia Penal Code in Brunei. He has been clear that that we will speak out to defend our values globally, including the freedom to be who you are and to love without fear.
