Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what estimate her Department has made of the number of (a) men and (b) women receiving a state pension under the old pension rate.

As at August 2018, the most recent date for which data are available, there were 5,000,000 men and 6,800,000 women receiving State Pension calculated under the pre-2016 rules.
