Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to the approval of the Pfizer covid-19 vaccine for 12 to 15 year olds by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, when he plans to announce whether people under 18 years old will be invited for vaccinations; and whether people under 18 years old who have been identified as clinically vulnerable will be prioritised for vaccination.

The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation is examining the evidence and the relative risks and benefits of vaccinating children and young people and will provide advice to the Government accordingly in due course.
