Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether his Department plans to agree a multi-year funding commitment with community pharmacies to help ensure they can help achieve the goals of the NHS Long Term Plan.

The Department, with NHS England, has recently begun negotiations to determine the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework for 2019/20 and beyond. The length of any settlement will form part of these negotiations and as such a decision has not yet been taken. These negotiations are confidential and no further information can be provided at this time.
