To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what information his Department holds on the number of police officers who have taken their own lives in each of the last ten years.
The Home Office does not centrally hold the information requested.

The Home Office has not issued any guidance to police forces on the collection of statistics on the number of police officers taking their own lives.
