Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps his Department is taking to help ensure that there is adequate (a) lighting and (b) CCTV coverage at (i) Bramley Station and (ii) all local rail stations.

Arriva Rail North has a station investment programme and will be spending around £60 million over the length of the franchise to improve the quality of their stations on the network. The work includes LED lighting, improving accessibility, rainwater harvesting and plans for redundant buildings. Under the plan, Bramley will receive new seating, new signage, and LED lighting has already been installed.
