Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the fiscal incentives in the UK for the redistribution of edible surplus food to people in need; and if he will make a statement.

The Government encourages the food industry to forge closer links with redistribution charities, and supports the actions and public commitment on redistribution made by some retailers.
