The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy was created in July 2016. Bullying or harassment is not tolerated at BEIS. BEIS is taking active steps where needed to address any issues, and is one of the best performing departments in government with regards to creating an inclusive culture, as highlighted by the cross-civil service people survey results.

Below are the figures for the number of bullying and/or harassment cases recorded against members of BEIS staff where advice and guidance was sought from our HR Casework Services team. We do not hold information centrally on whether the staff against whom the allegations were made were managers at the time of the case being raised.
