Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, how many areas in the UK have been designated as suitable for onshore wind in (a) local and (b) neighbourhood plans in England since the Written Statement of 18 June 2015, Official Report 9WS on Local Planning.

Sites identified as suitable for onshore wind development can be located in local authorities’ local or neighbourhood plans, all of which are available for the public to view.
