Railways: Trespass

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many successful prosecutions there were of people trespassing on national rail lines in (a) 2017 and (b) 2018.
This question was answered on 23rd May 2019
In (a) 2017:- according to British Transport Police data there were 121 convictions for trespass and (b) in 2018 there were 139.
