To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment she has made of the adequacy of the minimum juice content requirements for cider and perry products.

The department has not made a formal assessment of the adequacy of the current minimum juice content requirements for cider and perry products. The current minimum juice content requirements provide flexibility for producers, support product variety and innovation, and maintain consumer choice.
