Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether HMRC takes into account whether people who receive universal credit have been sanctioned when calculating their annual income.

Universal Credit is not a taxable benefit, therefore Universal Credit is not included when calculating an individual’s annual taxable income.
