With the expansion of 13,000 additional places for the pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) Impact Trial in February 2019, the total PrEP Impact Trial size is 26,000 places in England.

PrEP Trial recruitment monitoring is regularly reported to the programme oversight board, the trial steering committee, and the trial management group to continually assess the capacity to answer trial study objectives. The Board met on 20 March and received an update on trial site capacity and commissioner approvals of additional trial places.
