Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether his suicide prevention strategy will cover the correlation between alcohol and other substance misuse and suicide.
This question was answered on 5th July 2022
The new national suicide prevention plan will consider the evidence linked to suicide, including social risk factors such as alcohol and substance misuse.
