Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what assessment she has made of the viability of the Business Case for Option D in relation to Local Government Reorganisation in Cambridgeshire.

We plan to make an announcement on local government reorganisation in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough on or before October this year and it would not be appropriate to comment on specific proposals in advance of that.
