Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, whether he has made a recent assessment of the potential impact of the introduction of NAPpads on trends in the number of homeless people.

No-one in our society should have to suffer the injustice of living a life on the streets. As part of the £2 billion we are spending to tackle homelessness and end rough sleeping over three years, we are investing £13 million through the Night Shelter Transformation Fund to support the night shelter sector develop single-room emergency accommodation, with accompanying support, as the standard.
