Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what proportion of pupils achieved a A* to C grade at GCSE in (a) a modern foreign language and (b) science in each of the last five years.

Information on the proportion of students achieving an A* to C grade at GCSE in a modern foreign language and science in each of the last five years is published at national level as part of the “GCSE and equivalent results in England: statistical first release” series[1].
