Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what proportion of the homes being unlocked by the Housing Infrastructure Fund are expected to be affordable homes, and what proportion of those affordable homes are expected to be social rented homes.

This Government is committed to boosting housing supply and to build more affordable homes, including for social rent. Housing Infrastructure Fund grant funding will support local authorities to develop ambitious plans to meet their area’s affordable housing need. These will be agreed through the usual planning process.
