Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, how many complaints have been submitted to the Financial Ombudsman Service in each of the last three years; what the average wait was for a final decision in each of those years; how many complaints are currently outstanding; and what the current average waiting time is for a final decision.

This is a matter for the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), which is operationally independent from Government. The question has been passed on to the FOS. The FOS will reply directly to Caroline Lucas MP by letter. A copy of the letter will be placed in the Library of the House.
