Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what estimate he has made of the number of work days lost by police officers from sick leave as a result of an assault while on duty.

The number of working days lost by police forces in England and Wales because of an assault while on duty is not collected centrally by the Home Office.
