Personal independence payment (PIP) is a non-means-tested benefit. As such, no data is held on the income levels of claimants, as the Department does not collect information on income or capital as part of the PIP claiming process.

PIP is paid as a contribution towards the additional costs of disability; other benefits are available for income replacement.
