Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate her Department has made of the differences in average salaries, for roles of the same grade, between (a) DHSC and (b) NHS England; and whether respective salaries will be levelled up or levelled down as a result of the planned merger.

I have nothing to add at this time to the answer I gave the Hon. Member on 11 September in response to Question 21703, but as and when there are further updates to report, we will ensure that the House is informed.
