Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many (a) adults and (b) children who are born in the UK have different citizenship status to their siblings owing to legislative changes through the (i) British Nationality Act 1981 and (ii) Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2006.

There is no available data on the number of people born in the UK who have a different citizenship status to their siblings.

The Government website contains detailed information about who may be eligible to apply for British citizenship, how they can make an application, and how applications are considered.
