Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 18 July 2019 to Question 278966 on Rented Housing, if he will bring forward legislative proposals to make the sub-letting of residential property a criminal offence.

The Government has no plans to legislate to make the sub-letting of residential property a criminal offence.
