The Government would prefer to leave with a deal and we will work in an energetic and determined way to do so. If it is not possible to reach a deal we will have to leave with no deal and the Government is preparing for that outcome.

The UK is a development superpower and will remain committed to supporting the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people. Where it is in the UK’s interests, we will seek to work with the EU on shared priorities in international development, as a third country.
