Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many Disability Employment Adviser Leaders are based in (a) Scotland, (b) Wales, (c) Northern Ireland, and (d) each region of England; and what estimate she has made of the number of Disability Employment Adviser Leaders in those areas in each of the next three years.

Each area receives an appropriate allocation of DEA’s and DEAL’s based on its size and claimant caseload. As at the end of August 2019 the Department has 104.29 full time equivalent (FTE) Disability Employment Adviser Leaders in place across the Jobcentre Network.

The following table provides a breakdown of the number of FTE DEAL’s allocated by area as at the end of August 2019.
