Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what plans he has to bring forward legislative proposals to prohibit embryonic gene-editing technologies developed over the last five years.
This question was answered on 1st June 2015
The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 1990, as amended, already addresses this technology.
