Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment his Department has made of the level of the difference in the cost of care home places between people (a) who are self-funded and (b) funded by local authorities since the publication of the Competition and Markets Authority report into the Care Home market in November 2017.

The Government does not collect this information centrally and as such no assessment has been made.
