Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment his Department has made of the effect of the Oxford-Cambridge Expressway project on the ability of Highways England to carry out improvement works to the A34.

Improvement works on the Strategic Road Network, including on the A34, are not affected by the Oxford to Cambridge expressway project. The expressway project has the potential to enhance the service provision and resilience of the A34.
