Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether people who have not received a covid-19 vaccine will still be required to self-isolate for 10 days if they have been in contact with a person who has tested positive when the rules on self-isolation are eased.
Adults who are not fully vaccinated and therefore at a higher risk of catching and transmitting COVID-19 will still need to self-isolate if they are identified as the contact of someone who has tested positive. Anyone who tests positive will also still need to self-isolate regardless of their vaccination status or age.
