Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether he plans to update the Highway Code; and if he will make a statement.
This question was answered on 30th September 2019
The Department has previously announced a review of those aspects of The Highway Code which relate to safety for vulnerable road users, including cyclists, pedestrians and horse-riders.
The Department is currently agreeing the scope and delivery of this review, which will be conducted in consultation with our stakeholders, according to the Department’s usual practice.
