Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the Answer of 7 September 2026 to Question 16913 on Cabinet Office: Audit, if she will outline which specific element of the Civil Service Recruitment Principles were broken in the serious breach, without disclosing personal information; and whether there has been a fresh competition.

We are not able to comment to protect personal information. The Cabinet Office has implemented improvements against all of the recommended areas.
