Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, whether council houses (a) whose value exceeds the median value for properties of the same size in the same region and (b) the value of which is in the top third of the range will be included in the planned extension of the right-to-buy scheme for housing association tenants.

We will set out further details on the criteria to be applied in the Housing Bill in due course.
