Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will reconsider an appeal to the decision in respect of Lisa Smith who won an appeal against a ban on entering Northern Ireland.

The Government is disappointed with the outcome of the preliminary hearing in this case and is considering its options for appealing the decision.

It would be inappropriate to comment further in light of the ongoing legal proceedings.
