Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many adults are waiting for tooth extractions in hospital.
This question was answered on 15th July 2022
Referral to treatment data shows that as of April 2022, there were 268,464 patients awaiting oral surgery. However, this does not record the type of procedure and while data of the age of the patient is collected, this information has not been centrally validated.
