Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, when he plans to publish a draft International Sanctions Bill.

Following publication on 21 April 2017 of the White Paper on the UK's future legal framework for imposing and implementing sanctions, we remained in a period of public consultation until the 23 June. We intend to provide a government response to the consultation before introduction of the Bill when parliamentary timetabling permits.
