Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment his department has made of the potential merits of devolving the Climate Change Levy to the Welsh Government.

The Treasury keeps all taxes under review. As part of this process, it considers the advice and recommendations of experts. In 2012, the Silk Commission recommended that the Climate Change Levy should not be devolved.
