Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what estimate his Department has made of the number of current claimants of the work-related activity component of employment and support allowance who will be naturally migrated onto universal credit in (a) 2017-18, (b) 2018-19 and (c) 2019-20.

We do not issue forecasts of these volumes. The number of claimants of the work-related activity component of employment and support allowance who will be naturally migrated onto universal credit will vary according to a number of factors, such as the economic climate and developments in Government policy.
