No specific assessment has been made by the Department of the effect of these websites on people with anorexia nervosa.

The Government has worked with a range of bodies, including the Advertising Association and the National Citizen Service, to develop materials that support good practice and encourage young people to become more informed and resilient consumers of media content.

Working with industry, Government has made progress in delivering on the commitment to protect children from harmful material online - including prompting parents to switch on parental internet controls.
