Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many claimants of universal credit will see a reduction in their universal credit award as a result of changes to the work allowance due to take effect in April 2016.

The information requested is not available. The number of people in work and on benefits is driven by a range of factors. We will be contacting claimants who are working and reporting earnings, however not all these claimants will experience a reduction in their Universal Credit award.
